McLin expressed his enthusiasm for Winkler’s promotion, "Her vast experience and proven leadership make her the perfect fit for this critical role. Brenda's commitment to excellence and her unwavering dedication to our mission have been evident throughout her career at Good Samaritan,” he said. “I look forward to working closely with Brenda and the entire executive leadership team as we continue to establish Good Samaritan as a world-class provider of health care in southwest Indiana and southeast Illinois.

Winkler says she has always believed in giving back to others to help them reach their goals. “I look forward working more closely with our nurses and promoting the nursing profession, there are so many opportunities,” she said. “I also want to ensure that patients at Good Samaritan receive the best quality and safest care. McLin adds, “her leadership will be instrumental in advancing the organization's goals and ensuring the highest standards of health care for the communities we serve.”

Winkler added, “By building strong relationships with our nursing staff and physicians, along with community partnerships, I will continue to support the mission and vision of Good Samaritan.”
