Five Minutes in Healthcare - featuring Dan Vukelich

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | March 23, 2022
Dan Vukelich
Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this installment, I check back in with Dan Vukelich, president of the Association of Medical Device Reprocessors (AMDR), regarding the state of reprocessing in the U.S. and the growing interest in Europe. We also discuss the way COVID-19 has impacted reprocessing, and the value proposition of reprocessing as it relates to patient safety and provider finances in the short-term versus long-term.

The last time I spoke to Dan, we talked about the role reprocessing can play in reducing healthcare's carbon footprint, which is currently responsible for almost 4.6% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

We hope you enjoy the conversation. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next:
