As we start the new year, I will be doing something a little different with this installment of Five Minutes in Healthcare.

Normally this is where I interview a thought leader in the medical industry, but this week I will be sharing my thoughts on what to expect in 2022. If you're an investor, then these are some of the trends that might shape your views on where the industry is moving.

Although I don't offer specific investment suggestions, I hope that you find my predictions useful in shaping your own outlook and market perspective. If you there is something you think I have gotten wrong, or something I've left out, please let me know in the comments.

Phil Jacobus has been involved in health care since 1977, when he visited China to sell equipment. He has done business in 35 countries and still travels extensively. Phil is active in charity, helps rural clinics and always tries to help DOTmed users when he can.

Phil is a member of AHRA, HFMA, AAMI and the Cryogenic Society of America. He has contributed to a number of magazines and journals and has addressed trade groups.
