The Halcyon system is Varian’s newest cancer treatment device, engineered to simplify and enhance virtually every aspect of image-guided volumetric intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT). Halcyon is a human-centered, userfriendly system that automates and streamlines treatment. Treatments are 100% image-guided, and the MV imaging dose is accounted for in treatment planning. Halcyon incorporates many important usability features that will positively impact the treatment team and patients. It offers accelerated installation timeframes and expedited commissioning for a fast path from acquisition to clinical use. Halcyon is well suited to handle the majority of cancer cases.

Our model ACWC-90-DM is an air-cooled water chiller. Two pumps are used with this chiller. A chiller pump is used to recirculate the fluid through the tank and evaporator to provide a consistent chilled fluid for your linear accelerator. A process pump is used to provide the proper flow and pressure needed, based on the piping layout and the model of linear accelerator used. An onboard PLC monitors the operation of the chiller and will report any errors in a numeric code to the temperature controller LED display. This feature has proven to reduce downtime.

Lasers serve a critical role in CT simulation and during radiation therapy treatment. Sun Nuclear offers patient alignment solutions with installation flexibility and ease of use. MICRO+ fixed lasers feature 12 possible alignment adjustments from four controls and a remote with backlighting and Bluetooth technology. CT SIM+ moveable lasers include a complete connectivity suite for freedom of movement and easy data upload. Both laser systems allow users to choose from red, blue or green laser color, at no additional cost.
