Pewaukee, Wisconsin: November 29, 2015 – NeoCoil introduces the Faraday™ tablet, the world’s first MR conditional Android tablet.

The Faraday™ tablet is fully functional both outside and inside the MR environment. Patients can even use it in the bore while they are being scanned. RF shielding limits electromagnetic emissions to ambient levels at both 1.5T and 3.0T, so there is no RF interference during MR imaging. Ferrous materials have been reduced, allowing it to be used safely at field strengths of up to 3.0T. The Faraday™ tablet has a 9.7” LCD screen includes a 5 megapixel integrated camera, 2.4GHz / 5GHz WIFI ready, and a micro SD port for additional memory.
