DOTmed.com's Texas Regional Manager, Brett Foley, spoke with management at Memorial
Hermann, who decided to give DOTmed.com an opportunity to market their unwanted medical equipment through DOTmed's Full-Service Managed Auctions.

After the successful close of their OEC 9600 Super C C-Arm, reported in last month's Old into Gold, Memorial Hermann was fully on board with allowing their units to be auctioned on DOTmed, including the Picker Outlook Proview MRI at one of their outpatient centers.

After the first Auction Cycle, the MRI had successfully closed with a bid of $25,500. However, it was later revealed that the unit was still installed instead of deinstalled and we re-launched the auction for two more days notifying the bidders of the situation.

At the end of the two-day cycle, the Auction had a successful bid of $33,500, making the facility $8,000 more.

DOTmed's contact for the facility is more than happy with the results as they have realized revenue of close to $200,000 in just a two-month period and the amount continues to grow.
