The Golvo 8008 is designed to allow disabled persons access to activities in their homes which might otherwise not be accessible. In its standard configuration this lift can be used to do full bed to chair, chair to bed, chair to commode or toilet, car transfers and, with a special harness, patient rehabilitation such as gait training. With accessories which may be available from LIKO, it can also be used for sit to stand lift and horizontal prone lifts (e.g. bed to stretcher/table). Of all the lifts I have sold, the Golvo 7000 to 9000 series lift is the one I believe provides the highest quality, greatest versatility and best value in the used floor lift market.
The lift comes with a wired remote control, a strong battery module and built in charger and is in very good overall condition functionally and cosmetically. The lift pictured here has very few signs of use and works exactly the way it was designed to. It has been inspected and tested and no issues of any kind are evident. A matching sling may be available, but sizing should be determined by someone trained in patient lifts such as an Occupational Therapist. Locally I offer a 90 day warranty on lifts of the quality. I would be more than happy to do so for lifts bought in other locations, however the cost of getting to and from a service call prohibits this. All of my lifts come with an inspection warranty which allows the users to confirm they are in good working condition upon arrival.
The European made Golvo model 8008 is pretty much the same as the current 9000 series and the previous 7000 series. All are fully powered lifts made out of lightweight adonized aluminum with remote operated lift and base width controls, 24V rechargeable (on-lift) batteries and lift vertically (straight up) using a ribbon cable instead of a a lifting arm. The 8000 series added onboard control and a more compact battery and charging system. The 9000 series models add a lift count display to the battery condition display.
The technology used in the Golvo vertical floor lifts has remained virtually unchanged for 30 years because it works well and allows the lift to be very versatile. This lift is suitable for most institutional and clinical lift applications as well as use in private homes without the hassle, limits and expense of installing overhead tracking.

"FREE SHIPPING" is conditional on the delivery address having access to a loading dock or forklift for offloading the lift. If this is not available the buyer may pick the lift up at a regional freight depot or pay an additional $50-$120 power tailgate offloading fees charged by the freight companies for curbside delivery. Please write prior to purchase and the exact added charge will be obtained from the carrier. If there is no added offloading charge, the buyer will not be charged any.
The mast will be removed from the base of the lift for shipping. Reassembly involves remounting it using a few nuts and bolts and plugging the power module into the lift. No special tools or knowledge is required. The lift can be shipped assembled, but extra charges may be incurred.
A hardcopy of the original user manual is included as well as a quick reference card. Manuals and brochures for this lift are available on line if you wish to explore it further in advance of purchase.
