The generator has a simple interface and automatically sets the necessary input parameters by defining tools. Automatic safety assurance is the basis for generator operation and self-testing.

Duty Cycle: At maximum input and rated load conditions (30-ohm load), the generator can operate for 1 hour in the following mode: on for 5 seconds, then off for 15 seconds. With less power and load, it can activate the generator for a long time without overheating it.

The generator consumes a current of no more than 8 A at the mains input voltage from 100 V to 240 V. When turned off and unplugged, the generator retains all user-programmed features, calibration, and statistics. When power is transferred to a hospital backup power system, the generator operates within its specifications.

The device has a battery and a 3V lithium disk cell to control its operating time. Monitoring the resistance of the patient’s tissues in the surgical field through the active electrode at least 20,000 times per second maintains the constancy of the power supplied to the patient’s tissues despite changes in tissue resistance.
