The XL-400 is an Automated random access clinical chemistry analyzer. XL-400 has compact bench top model, easy of operation, accuracy and precision, reagent savings, on board laundry, on board cooling, automated pipetting, auto dilution auto rerun, optional ISE with Na+, K+,CL+, Li+, stat sampling, open system wide test menu, and qc with L.J plot and multiple rules.
Auto Pipetting for sample and reagent: XL-200 has automated pipetting of reagent and sample by a robotic arm which guarantees precise liquid handling of as low as 2 ul and as high as 300ul with and incremental volume of 0.2 ul. Robotic capacitance probe equipped with liquid level sensor to check presence of adequate liquid in the container. Vertical obstruction detection sensor protects the probe thereby increasing its longevity.
Smart Mixing: Immersion mixing with user defined, variable speeds up to three levels ensures thorough mixing. This ensures accurate performance of Immunoturbidimetric assays. Separate cleaning station to ensure high precision.
Smart saving: Saving of reagent is possible in XL-200 as several chemistry parameters can be preformed with reagent volumes as low as only 180ul. Also, XL-400 comes with permanent hard glass cuvettes.
Quality Control and Multiple rules: XL-400 comes with an expensive quality control program which gives confidence in reporting by providing L.J. Chart with multiple rules. Different levels of controls can be run on XL-400. Flags as per the multiple rules about acceptance of run ensures accurate reporting.
On Board Laundry: 8 stage laundry station ensures cleaning and drying. Reaction mixture containing sample i.e. biohazard waste is moved from the cuvette and disposed off separately in the biohazard waste container. Cleaning is done using ERA XL wash and DI water. Cuvettes are checked for cleanliness and sent for drying, which is done in two stages with a cuvette validation step.
Flexible sample tray: Provides convenience for sample loading in primary tubes of 5ml,7ml,10ml and sample cups. all 39 positions can be assigned for Blank/Sample/Calibrator/Control/STAT Samples. An optional barcode reader makes the operation simple and user friendly, thereby increasing operators efficiency.
Reagent Tray: Consists of 50 cooled positions for system pack bottles. Flexible options of 50ml, 20ml, Bottles & 5 ml adaptor.
Calibration: For Immunoturbidimetric assays upto 10 standards can be used. Calibration trace gives information of the curve as well as time of calibration.
Time Course: The reaction in the cuvette is monitored for the entire reaction time. The reaction curve can be viewed online. Each reaction curve is stored with the details of absorbance of primary and secondary wavelengths.
