Elekta Infinity integrates the Elekta Synergy image-guided workflow in a comprehensive treatment system that includes Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT). VMAT combines superior dose conformance and treatment speed, enabling clinicians to "shrink wrap" the dose around the tumor, by simultaneously manipulating the gantry position and speed, MLC leaves, dose rate and collimator angle. Infinity offers a choice between single or multiple arcs-depending on the treatment site-to optimize the VMAT plan.
