The Ezer ERU-7200 Chair is compact, versatile and friendly design allows for comfortable exams for your patients. Easy to clean leather material will look like new throughout the life time of the chair. The chair is electric recline (flat) and vertical movements, controlled by the foot petal or buttons on the side of the chair's backrest. However, what will save you time in each exam is the Reset function of the ERU-7200 Chair. With one simple push of a button, the chair will be lowered, bring s the patient to a sitting position, allowing you to move on with the charting. The patient can be positioned in a completely supine position, as the chair adjusts from 90 to 180 degrees. The 360 degree rotatable chair features an adjustable headrest and footrest.
SYSTEM OPERATION
Each of the chair control membrane switch buttons performs a specific function. Refer to Performance and Specifications for the button symbols and their corresponding functions.
4.1 Elevation Control
Height adjustment of the ophthalmic chair model ERU-7200 is made by pressing the appropriate button on the membrane switch located at the side of the back or with a footrest controller. The chair may also be controlled by the UP, DOWN, LIE, STAND and AUTORETURN buttons on the exam stand. (Control cable between stand andchair must be connected)
4.2 Recline Control
To recline the patient, press the LIE button with the thumb and chair will recline, then release the button when chair reaches the desired position. To return the patient to the upright position, press the STAND button again. This can also be available by the footrest controller. AUTORETURN buttons can be used to return the back to the
upright position. (Control cable between stand and chair must be connected)
4.3 Swivel Brake Operation
To rotate the chair, move the swivel brake handle (check figure 1) anticlockwise to the released position (parallel to the floor), rotate the chair to the desired position, then move the swivel brake handle (parallel to the floor)clockwise to secure the chair in
position.
4.4 Headrest Position
The headrest assembly consists of a 2 pivot-articulating clamp as well as a pivoting pillow mount. The headrest assembly has a very wide adjustment range and can accommodate any examination situation. The articulating headrest position may be adjusted as desired by releasing the clamp-locking handle (check figure 1), pivoting
the headrest into position, then re-activating the clamp-locking handle.
