Helping Emerging Growth
Companies locate capital
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) announced an expansion of its Business Solutions program that provides smaller, Emerging Growth Companies with access to industry-leading suppliers and professional service firms to help them succeed.

With the addition of new partner IPEEX, the AdvaMed program moves into a higher-level of service to help its smaller members better connect with sources of venture capital. IPEEX is an on-line corporate finance platform that brings complete transparency to the transatlantic venture markets and facilitates more senior management participation in deal prospecting.

IPEEX' Venture Financing & Deal Prospecting Platform system allows chief executives from Emerging Growth Companies to leverage their existing relationships with venture capital firms by targeting the relationships that exist between VC firms and identifying new sources of potential funding.

With access to capital becoming increasingly difficult, the IPEEX online Venture Financing & Deal Prospecting Platform (www.ipeex.com) enables manufacturers to rapidly locate the most appropriate investors to contact. While IPEEX helps smaller companies find potential investors, it also helps investors and larger companies identify attractive investment and acquisition opportunities.

David Hawkins, co-founder of IPEEX said, "IPEEX is already transforming the fundraising prospects of young companies on both sides of the Atlantic, and in this particularly difficult environment, where CEOs need to widen their search for investors, we are delighted to be working with AdvaMed to provide its members with our services on advantageous terms."

The AdvaMed Business Solutions program offerings allow smaller, Emerging Growth Companies to gain access to numerous discounted products and services, including liability insurance, medical translation services, industry research publications, consultations on securing federal R&D tax credits, logistical support for expanding into the EU marketplace, and premier listings in a searchable medical technology database. The program continues to provide important services for smaller companies that represent more than 75 percent of AdvaMed's membership.
