Atlanta - DocuSys, Inc., a market-leading provider of the most innovative systems for anesthesia information management, medication management and presurgical care management, has closed its acquisition of Prompte, LLC. This acquisition creates the most comprehensive solution for perioperative documentation of the clinical events from the time a decision is made to schedule surgery through the postoperative period.

DocuSys' Presurgical Care Management System is implemented at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, and Ochsner Health System in New Orleans. This system will provide both hospitals with a web-based, patient-driven health survey for collecting a patient's health history prior to surgery, along with a comprehensive system to manage presurgical patient assessment and readiness for surgery. Both organizations have go-live dates planned for early 2009.
