January 2, 2008--The Institute of Cancer Research in Sutton, Surrey UK is offering a course in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy Monday, October 27th through Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in the Brooks Lawley Building. The course is useful for NHS physicists who deal with MR in clinical settings and for post doctorate and PhD students performing research in the field of in vivo NMR. The opportunity to observe measurements demonstrated on the Siemens or Philips 1.5T MR systems, installed at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust will also be included.

The cost of the course is $978.00 or 420 pounds, with reduced rates for NHS & University staff, IPEM members and Part 1 trainees, and for students with verification letter confirming student status. Closing date for registration is October 10, 2008. Applications outside the UK are welcome. The number of participants is limited to 40.
