On Monday, BC Technical announced the acquisition of Ohio Valley Medical Systems. It is the company's fourth acquisition of 2015 and will strengthen its business in MR imaging support.
Ohio Valley Medical Systems will bring the organization a particular expertise in Hitachi open MR systems, which will allow BC Technical to include Hitachi MR in their nationwide service portfolio.
"We couldn't be more excited about this acquisition," said Mark Alvarez, president and CEO of BC Technical, in a statement. "The Ohio Valley engineers are true experts in their field, and we are pleased to welcome them to the BC Technical team."

Earlier this year BC Technical completed acquisitions of
Atlas Medical Technologies, Eclipse Systems, and
Virtual Medical Sales. All of those transactions were completed with the goal of increasing the company's capabilities as a national — and non-OEM — provider of CT, MR, NM, PET and PET/CT parts and service.
