Doctor-staffing company Jackson Healthcare said Friday it launched a radiology staffing, management and consulting division.

The Atlanta-based company, which staffs doctors, anesthesiologists and nurses, said the new business, Hospital Radiology Partners, will provide radiology staffing, including for subspecialties and interventional radiology.

The group will also provide teleradiology services for daytime backup and nights and weekend coverage.

"We emphasize performance-based contracts as a cornerstone of our partnership approach," Larry Kraska, president of Hospital Radiology Partners, said in a statement.

In addition to staffing, the group will consult with hospitals on how to increase patient volume, improve workflow and reduce patient out-migration. The company also said it would be held accountable for its work through "evidence-based management tools."

Kraska spent the past decade in the health care staffing business as CEO of Club Staffing, which was bought by Medfinders in 2007.
