Third-party service organization introduces franchise model to help biomedical service providers create a national brand.

Austin, Texas - ALTERNATIVE SERVICE ENGINEERS, INC. (ASE) is targeting America's health care concerns by helping hospitals save money with an alternate choice for their medical equipment service costs.

Concurrently, ASE is creating jobs by offering a new franchise business platform for recently laid off service employees of the big medical manufacturers. By utilizing ASE, hospitals will be rewarded with reduced service contracts due to the lower overhead with owner/operator engineers,
while receiving equal or superior results. "ASE believes that the engineers should be renumerated for their expertise and customer loyalty" says Scott Vanlandingham, founder of ALTERNATIVE SERVICE ENGINEERS, INC. "whereas the hospitals benefit from a more focused service approach lowering their annual service contracts significantly."

Diagnostic medical imaging service contracts, at small to mid sized hospitals, range between 200 to over 500 thousand dollars annually. The
majority of these contracts are being paid to the industry giants: GE, Philips and Siemens, however more and more educated administrators and
radiology directors are working with independent third party service providers to help lower their costs. While this system works for lowering
costs it can also be a concern to administrators if an issue is perceived too large or too expensive for an independent service person to handle.

ASE's solution allows hospitals to feel more secure knowing that the franchised engineer has corporate backing for parts availability and back up from other franchisees, if needed.

The ALTERNATIVE SERVICE ENGINEERS franchise initiative will benefit hospitals by reducing their expenses which will help justify keeping their existing full time employees; while biomedical engineers will be able to take control of their livelihood and create a better quality of life with an ASE franchise.
