A CT performance phantom
is used to check image quality
High contrast spatial resolution of a CT scanner describes the scanner's ability to resolve closely placed objects.
In CT imaging, high contrast spatial resolution is the ability of the imaging system to discriminate changes in density to differentiate bone, tissue and blood vessels.
This is determined by following the OEM's manual to check and confirm image quality using the manufacturer's CT performance phantom.
