This device is used asa surgical table accessory. Thereisa 4" slice in the conductive cover. This however will not affect the overall functioning of this board. The conductive cover can be replaced. This is a patient transfer leg support. There is a weight limit for patients over 400 lbs. This lightweight board supports the patients legs during transfer to table. It is recommended for leg support only and is removed after patient is positioned.
