The PFA-100System measures the complex process of primary hemostasis and aids in the rapid detection of platelet dysfunction. It is the first commercially available in vitro testing system to incorporate high-shear flow in which the process of platelet adhesion and aggregation following a vascular injury is simulated in-vitro.
The PFA-100 System provides automated assessment for inherited, acquired, or drug-induced platelet dysfunction.

This device is in good cosmetic and excellent working condition with normal signs of wear from previous use. Still in great shape. Powers on and passes all self-checks. Printer makes noise like its printing reports but it has no paper, so I cannot say for sure it works. Displays that it is test ready. Asks for Trigger Bottle and Priming Cartridge which are not included so no further testing could be done. All buttons respond to prompts and LEDs are bright and legible. Contrast adjustment is working properly. All ports are clear and unobstructed. All rubber feet are present and power cord is good.
