These Beckman Coulter rotors have been manufactured in an ISO 9001 or 13485 facility for the use with the specified Beckman Coulter Ultracentrifuges.
The swinging bucket rotor allows the tube to change angle during the run. The buckets are vertical when stopped and horizontal while running. The parallel geometry of the swinging buckets allow the sample to move through the density gradients without interuption, unlike fixed angle geometry, where the sample hits the wall and smears, which can compromise the seperation.
Ideal for seperating large volume samples at low speeds and are particlarly useful when samples are to be resolved in rate-zonal (density) gradients. Applications include tissue culture processing, high throughput protocols such as harvesting whole cells from growth, processing of blood collection tubes and rate-zonal seperations (i.e. bades on size or mass) media.
The SW 32 Ti & SW 32.1 Ti are swinging bucket rotors designed to centrifuge up to 6 tubes each. Used in Beckman Coulter Class H, R and S preparative ultracentrifuges, these rotors develop centrifugal forces for the separation of subcellular particles and viruses in density gradients.
Condition & Testing:
The rotor is in excellent cosmetic condition. I believe it was facility purchased and never used with no sign previous use. The buckets and aluminum bucket stand are in the same unused condition. The accessory kit is still in the manufacturers packaging and unopened. Guaranteed not to be DOA.
