Using the Aura XP™ system, physicians can perform a number of selected mucosal and pelvic health disease procedures with precision.
Ears: Aura XP laser with StarPulseTM Technology can be used for tissue incision, excision, ablation and vessel hemostasis and allows physicians to perform inner ear surgery without disrupting delicate tissue surrounding the stapes bone. Many can be performed in a hospital outpatient or ambulatory surgery center using general anesthesia.
Nose: Use the Aura XP laser for nasal procedures involving tissue incision, excision, ablation and vessel hemostasis. Many can be performed in a hospital outpatient or ambulatory surgery center using general anesthesia.
Throat: For use in tissue incision, excision, ablation and vessel hemostasis, the distinct advantage is precise coagulation and necrosis of selectively targeted diseased tissue while preserving the surrounding soft mucosal layer of the vocal cord folds.
Gynecology: Performing a procedure in a hospital outpatient or ambulatory surgery center setting provides increased comfort and convenience to the patient while maximizing investment. Utilize the Aura XP system for vaporizing, incising, or coagulating tissue associated with treatments for conditions such as:
Endometriosis
Cervical, vulvar, and vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia;
Condyloma acuminata;
Uterine septum;
Intrauterine adhesions; and
Submucosal fibroids.
Urology: The Aura XP system can be used for cutting, coagulating, or vaporizing Urologic soft tissues. A wide variety of small flexible fibers allows the treatment of ureter and kidney disorders through a flexible ureteroscope.
